Lucy Peres Award
This award in the name of Lucy Peres is meant to honor and recognize her many contributions in the aging services community.
Lucy Peres was a great leader who passionately served the Las Vegas community. After her retirement from the state of Nevada, she actively advocated for senior rights.
She was a past president of the Las Vegas Chapter of the National Silver Haired Congress, and was chairperson of ASDO at the time of her death in 2015.

Engaging With Aging is proud to announce Mary Liveratti as the 2021 Recipient of the Lucy Peres Award. Please join us in honoring Mary’s thirty-nine years of service in the field of Health and Human Services. Mary is a trailblazer in driving change, and dedicated to improving the lives of all Nevada citizens. She has guided the way to improving the lives of seniors across Nevada as an advocate, an administrator, a social worker, and as a volunteer. Mary’s legacy of leadership includes countless legislative and quality initiatives, and the creation of innovative service options to support seniors. Mary has fostered recognition for caregivers and spearheaded advancements in dementia care. We can think of no better recipient of an award designed to recognize outstanding contributions in the aging services community.
